Good Morning Dan,
Please see the attached contract routing form and consultant services agreement for your review and signature. If you could please share with Kristina after your signature I would appreciate
it.
This has been reviewed by Omar Sandoval while David DeBerry is out of town. The information below remains the same and we are grateful they can begin next week.
Thank You,
Ryan

Follow Up FYI.
Greg and I had a great conversation with Sam Dunlap of the Tongva tribe who can provide the Native American Monitoring and Cultural Resources support as required per AB52. In addition,
he can be ready for a notice to proceed early next week which is great. I am working with DeBerry on an agreement as we speak and hope to have that for Dan’s signature by tomorrow.
Please be aware the hourly rate for their support is $70/hour and the tribe determines the number of hours needed, especially during grading and vegetation removal. I will include a
not to exceed amount of $38,000 which is assuming they are on-site every hour of every day of the 60-day project. This is highly unlikely and would tend to believe the total would
be around $20,000 to $25,000. Fortunately, we have $100,000 in contingency and this agreement is under Dan’s authority.
Please feel free to give me a call with any questions.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Dan,
Just a heads up that per the Mitigation Measures, the City is required to secure a Native American monitor prior to breaking ground on Canyon Loop. Their role is to monitor the contractor
during any clearance and ground disturbance for potential impacts to tribal cultural resources.
Our goal is to secure this monitor this week and get underway next. Please be aware this will be an additional cost to the City, from the contingency, and require the City to enter
into their agreement. Greg and I have a call today with a potential monitor and will look to expediate this agreement with your support hopefully later this week. More to follow…
