●Crew worked until 1635 today, exceeding the standard 8 hour work day by an hour and a half.
●Approximately 25 sq ft of vegetation was cleared.
●An area was excavated for the gabion wall(s).
●All sensitive biological resources were monitored and no adverse impacts occurred.
●There was no secondary containment under the staged equipment: skid steer, mini excavator.

A mini excavator was used for trail expansion along the slope on the southern trail.This area will be the site for
several gabion walls.Hedge-trimmers were used to clear dried mustard weeds from trial.The crew also removed

Description of Listed Location:The bird was observed in coastal sage scrub adjacent to oak woodland below
the southern slope. The bird was briefly observed and recognized by its call.
Bio-monitor Notes:The California gnatcatcher was observed outside the trail improvement area.The location
was between the southern trail and a grove of California live oaks (Quercus agrifolia).
