GPS Location of Listed Species (if applicable):
Description of Listed Location:The bird was observed on a hillside north of the staging area below the trail.
The bird was briefly observed on a black sage (Salvia mellifera) and recognized by its call before flying away.
Bio-monitor Notes:The California gnatcatcher was observed outside the trail improvement area. The location
was between the staging area and an adjacent trail.
