It has been my privilege to be part of the prudent financial management that has helped the city build a multi -million dollar reserve for unexpected situations like we have experienced over the last two years. The wise stewardship of our resources has been a legacy of this Council and many before it. I have worked diligently to protect our hard-earned tax dollars, and I will continue to do so as your Councilmember. Public safety has always been the top priority in Diamond Bar —you can count on me to be sure it always will be. Traffic is an issue in Diamond Bar, and we are seeing progress with the 57/60 freeway "Big Fix" that will keep cars on the freeway and off our streets. A lot has been done, and there is still a lot to do. People are seeking courage and leadership in elected officials -your vote and support can help me continue to provide this in Diamond Bar. CANDIDATE STATEMENT INFORMATION AND GUIDELINES (Elections Code Sections 13307, 13308, 13311 and 13313) GENERAL INFORMATION: Filing of a statement is optional and applies to local nonpartisan offices. FILING PERIOD: Statement must be filed no later than the close of business hours on the last day of the candidate nomination period. WITHDRAWAL: A candidate statement cannot be changed or revised once it is filed. A candidate statement may be withdrawn by 5 P.M. of the next business day after the last day to file the statement.
