Gentlemen:
This office has reviewed the reference 1 grading plan to determine
if the design incorporates the necessary stabilization parameters
recommended in our preliminary geotechnical reports (reference 2).
Conclusion
1) The reference 1 grading plans reflect the stabilization measures
recommended in our preliminary geotechnical reports.

2) The subject tracts will be grossly stable based on the findings
of our geotechnical investigation, provided the grading conforms
with the reference grading plans. Accordingly, the application
of 'restricted use areas" is deemed unnecessary and inappropriate
at this time, subject to our evaluation of geologic conditions
exposed during tract grading.
Recommendations
1) Dwelling construction should be confined to the graded pad area
of each lot.
2) Prior to issuance of building permits for any structure beyond
the pad area within the tracts, the building plans should be
reviewed by this office to a) verify conformance with geotechnical
recommendations to be finalized at rough grading; and b) to make
additional recommendations deemed necessary for a safe and stable
development.
