To the esteemed members of the Diamond Bar City Council,
My name is Andy Shin and first of all, I am proud to say that I grew up in Diamond Bar, especially looking up to selfless public servants like our former mayor and council member, Mr.
Jack Tanaka.
As an incoming senior at Cornell University with an interest in sustainability and public service, I've worked on a report that outlines environmental issues that Diamond Bar is going
to face. I've also listed the ways that the city could take to actively mitigate the climate impacts. This information is mainly gathered from the Diamond Bar's Climate Action Plan
that the council has seen and approved before; I hope the council members could take a look at it to be mindful of the environmental policies they will make going forward.
With that in mind, I appreciate all the work you do to represent the interests of the citizens in Diamond Bar. I hope this report could help make our community a better place to live.
