This will allow us to separate the special project from all of the other work, which is substantial. I would suggest we use the new email address for anything involved with the reconstruction, including residents, homeowners, engineers, contractors, and city officials. As the report, and perhaps subsequent reports are not able to be emailed due to their file size, we put it on the new website so residents and owners can download it. We made the new site password protected, so we could share the password with residents and owners alike, while limiting the general public access. In reviewing the Khatri International, Inc. report of Sept. 22, 2021, and speaking with Mr. Khatri, it is my understanding that there is a high risk of damage and safety concerns affecting the occupancy of the 2nd floor residents and a medium risk for the 1st floor residents, Mr. Khatri is not necessarily ordering an immediate evacuation. There still needs to be destructive testing and other analysis performed – which testing and analysis will require the residents vacate – but as it stands, we do not believe there is an immediate need to evacuate the residents. Nonetheless, we will be drafting a notice to be posted at the buildings and residents informing of the safety concerns raised by Mr. Khatri and strongly recommend that residents undertake efforts to voluntarily evacuate. (Mr. Khatri, if my understanding is incorrect or if there is anything further to add, please respond.) I’ll be working with the HOA and Mr. Khatri on testing and analysis and next steps.
