Yes, work was supposed to begin that next day, however the workers were not able to continue due to bees that had created hives in the walls of both units A-8 and A-15. I had to have
a beekeeper remove the hives (6 in total) for the work to continue.
When the workers returned, I was informed that the approved plans call for the joist to run from the exterior faux balconies 4' into units. This will require additional asbestos abatement
of unit A-5, A-6 and A-7.
We are currently awaiting approval from our insurance carrier to move forward with the abatement; however, to expedite matters, I have already notified and provided all required information
to the abatement contractor so they can begin requesting approval from AQMD.

Attached is the City's permit card for work completed by Scott Harrison Plumbing, in December of 2020, in addition to photos of the completed work.
The Board has also approved the following additional work, requested by the city, for building F and permits are being obtained by the contractor:

Back side of building
* Multiple hot lines entering building to be insulated and protected from UV
When this job is completed work will immediately begin for the next building, which is building D. I will update you with that information when they begin to pull the permits for it.
