Subject: General Plan Status Report
Hi Ryan and Anthony,
I hope you both had a wonderful Christmas, and able to take some time off during the holidays. I took a week and a half and it was very much needed.
It’s that time of year to provide a status report to the Planning Commission and City Council, listing the City’s progress toward the implementation of the General Plan for the calendar
period of January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. I’m attaching a copy of the staff report from last year, but it listed goals and policies in the 1995 General Plan. Since the City
Council adopted the Diamond Bar General Plan 2040 in December 2019, we will need to report on the implementation of the updated plan for this calendar year.
Please take a look at the goals and policies in the Land Use & Economic Development, Public Safety, and Community Health & Sustainability chapters and list any progress toward implementation
the goals and policies under each element.
Can you please send me the information no later than Friday, January 15?
Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions.
