Hi Sam,
Sorry we weren’t able to deliver during work hours. I finessed a few spacing issues, added a comma etc. A few other changes to make it more understandable. I verified the Mayor’s
quote too. My City Manager has reviewed and approved this version.
I had one question I wanted to pull out rather than change on the document. This is third paragraph…..would the attorneys object if we took the highlighted words out? I think it’s
attorney language….not understood by the general public. Anyway – discuss that with your boss.
3rd paragraph
Attorneys for the Cities had already convinced the court in San Bernardino, where the case was filed, that several of the allegations made by SGVWP, including its claims for damages,
had no merit on their face and the court had dismissed a substantial portion of the litigation.
I hope we can release it tomorrow if at all possible to meet our weekly paper’s deadline.
I’ll watch for direction.
