HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE_ Tres Hermanos (2).msgHi Dan,
Thanks for checking in on this. We are trying to figure out if the Tres Hermanos site qualifies as a potential replacement property/site.
We have to ensure that the replacement project will result in NEW open space that contributes 9 acres to the public. If it is already protected, then it would NOT result in additional
open space land to compensate for the loss of the 9-plus acres.
In order to make a determination on whether or not the Tres Hermanos site could be looked at as a potential site, can we get a copy of the deed restriction that your reference? It will
help us in better identifying whether or not this ranch property qualifies.
Thanks!
Alina

Hi Alina,
Yes, there is a deed restriction on the property for open space, public use or preservation.

Hi Dan,
Can you confirm whether or not the Tres Hermanos ranch is protected by a conservation easement?
Thanks, Alina

Hi Dan,
I hope you are doing okay. I know that things are crazy, but I want to keep the ball rolling on a site visit to explore a couple of options for the Metro project replacement land.
I wanted to check in on scheduling a site visit, while we keep social distancing. My secretary Norma Rivera sent a couple of options, let me know if they work for you or if you can suggest
some times.
Also, can you confirm if the Tres Hermanos Ranch has a conservation easement on the property that protects it? I want to make sure that we can comply with the Park Preservation Act.
Thanks. Alina
