You might be receiving a call from the applicant for this property, Dennis Crable. He and I had an encounter on the phone a couple of weeks back that I thought was resolved, but he seems
to still want to have issues with me.
He wanted to talk with me privately about it today, but I declined and made sure Essmy was a witness to the conversation. Dennis is new to the entire process of issuing plans and is
really stumbling his way through it. It also doesn’t help that the homeowner he is representing is difficult for him to deal with as well. What I gathered today in our conversation
is he is taking my directness I have when I am talking to him and giving advice about the plan check process as me having a “tone” with him. I worked on trying to diffuse the situation
when I was talking with him today. I explained to him I have nothing against him and thanked him for bringing this to my attention.
