HomeMy WebLinkAboutFW_ letter from the engineer we were waiting forMike, I am in receipt of the letter that you emailed to me on March 9, 2016, however please have the engineer revise it by removing the last line that reads, ”This letter was given to the owner of the property upon their request; the undersigned assumes no liability of the accuracy of the measurements.” As a licensed engineer preparing the letter, Mr. Farag needs to be accountable for the quantities he is indicating will be completed for cut and fill. This letter is being requested to have an engineer be accountable that the grading will not exceed 50CY in total and will therefore not require a grading permit. Since your original plans indicated grading calculations over 400CY and now it has been verbally indicated that grading will no longer exceed 50CY due to the proposed changes to the plans, we need an engineer to certify such statements in writing to justify not requiring grading permits. Once the revision as requested is made, please resend the PDF directly to me and I will review it once more before the original hard copy can be delivered to me directly. Please note that I understand the Bldg. and Safety Division has been waiting for me to provide comments on the plans in order to return the plan check to you. I had been delaying comments while I was waiting for this letter as originally requested on Feb. 9, 2016, however, in order to continue to process the project accordingly I will be returning the plans with a copy of this email as a correction from the Public Works/Engineering Department.
