Thank you for sending the attached to me on the afternoon of Friday, February 19 . As we discussed in our meeting, the letter was to be prepared by a licensed civil engineer, signed
and stamped. The attached is a word document prepared by an architect and is neither signed nor stamped. It also does not reference the property address. Please provide a hard copy
of the letter as discussed at our meeting on February 9, 2016 signed and stamped by the civil engineer you referred to as having been working with on this project with regards to the
quantities of grading.
Additionally, since this is a grading information request from the Public Works/Engineering Department, please be sure to submit this letter directly to the Public Works/Engineering
Department to my attention. I understand there may be some confusion as to who is accepting information for the project and I want to formalize my request in this email that the grading
certification letter shall be submitted to me in the Public Works/Engineering Department and if I am not available to accept it in person at the front counter please be sure to include
a transmittal letter directed to my attention with the grading certification letter attached. This will ensure that the grading certification will reach me. In the interest of time,
I will accept a PDF copy of the signed, stamped letter from the licensed engineer certifying that grading will not exceed 50 CY separating the quantities by cut and fill for this phase
of the construction at 22819 Canyon View. The hard copy can follow once I have reviewed and accepted the PDF copy.
We appreciate your prompt response to this request as we are all working towards an efficient and timely process towards permit issuance.
