The Public was invited numbers printed on the agenda. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: ROLL CALL: COVID-19 and there to join the regulationsI all Council Members and was no physical location for public meeting online or by phone at the Mayor Tye led the Pledge of Allegiance. Council Members Andrew Chou, Ruth Low, Jennifer "Fred" Mahlke, Mayor Pro Tern Nancy Lyons, and Mayor Steve Tye Staff participating telephonically: Dan Fox, City Manager; Dave DeBerry, City Attorney; Ryan McLean, Assistant City Manager; Anthony Santos, Assistant to the City Managers Ryan Wright, Parks and Recreation Director; David Liu, Public Works Director; Greg Gubman, Community Development Director; Dianna Honeywell, Director of Finance; Amy Haug, Human Resources and Risk Managers Ken Desforges, Director of Information Services; Marsha Roa, Public Information Manager; Robin Crawford, Administrative Assistant; Kristina Santana, City Clerk APPROVAL OF AGENDA: As submitted. 1. 2. NOVEMBER 3, 2020 PAGE 2 CITY COUNCIL 3.5 ADOPTED RESOLUTION NO. 202041 EXTENDING THE DECLARED LOCAL EMERGENCY REGARDING NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (COVID- 19). 4. PUBLIC HEARING(S): NONE 5. COUNCIL CONSIDERATION: NONE 6. COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS AND MEETING ATTENDANCE REPORTS/COUNCIL MEMBER COMMENTS: C/Chou reported on his attendance at the October 28t" League of Cities Executive Board meeting and encouraged everyone to vote. C/Low reported on her attendance at the October 21 St Woman's Club meeting, reminded everyone that the Friends of the Library has reopened their bookstore, thanked staff and the Fire Department for their response to the Blue Ridge Fire, and wished veterans a Happy Veterans Day. C/Mahlke hoped everyone would vote and honor the outcome, honor all veterans on Veterans Day, said she was particularly thankful during the Thanksgiving season, and thanked the firefighters for their response to the Blue Ridge Fire. MPT/Lyons reminded everyone that Basically Books has reopened and is accepting donations, thanked ACM/McLean, law enforcement and fire fighters for their excellent communication to the residents during the Blue Ridge Fire, voiced her confidence in the City, State and Country's response to the election, thanked Diamond Bar High School students for the drive -through Spooktacular, and thanked veterans for their service. M/Tye spoke warned residents about tax fraud and Medicare fraud, thanked law enforcement for their service and asked everyone to please vote.
