Please use this information to begin including the appropriate number and type of trees within the project site as well as somewhere offsite. Based on the assessment, the habitat that will need to be replaced includes 0.01 acre of California walnut groves. The number of trees that will be removed includes 4 coast live oaks and 62 California walnuts. Based on the City’s tree ordinance which is a 3:1 replacement, the project will be required to plant 12 coast live oaks and 186 California black walnuts. Please note that the Biological Letter report includes the version of the site plan that we currently have. We understand that the site plan will be revised to, at a minimum, remove the maintenance access road from behind the existing residences located along Crooked Creek Drive. The tree and habitat assessment was based on the maintenance road behind the existing residences would be removed. The report is 19MB and as a result we have provided you the following link for access: https://www.ishipdocs.com/ishipdocs/AbacusDownload.aspx?downloadid=a2456035-a431- 4837-b631-702b0c617aa2&orderid=20185153 We have until January 9, 2021 to download the file.
