2.1 MARCH RECREATION PROGRAM — RS/Murphey
2.2 MARCH 2019 MAINTENANCE REPORT— FAMT/Williams
C/Liang asked if there was any damage to any of the parks and whether
Sycamore Canyon Park suffered additional damage.
FAMT/Williams responded that Sycamore Canyon Park held up well for
the amount of rain it experienced. While there was some erosion, it was
to be expected. The trails took the biggest hit where there was a decent
amount of erosion. Staff has assessed the damage and remediation work
will begin next week and likely continue for the next three or four weeks as
crews are sent to repair the damage throughout the City.
C/Salo said he visited Heritage Park a few weeks ago and noticed one of
the drinking fountains near the basketball court was clogged. He also
asked that staff check out the Tic -Tac -Toe wheels that are on the
playground because the wheels seem to be stiff and he is not sure the
kids can actually rotate it to play. FAMT/Williams said that staff would
look into both items.
