HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC 98-06PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 98-06 A RESOLU'T'ION OF -THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR ESTABLISHING A PLANNING COMMISSION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL. A. Recitals 1. It is important.to the successful operation of any public - organization that -standards be established to define roles, responsibilities, and expectations of the governing board and staff in an organization's operation. 2. The establishment of standards by the Planning Commission will promote understanding and trust among members of the Commission and -staff concerning their roles, responsibil- itids, and expectations for the operation of the City. 3. The establishment and periodic review of the Planning Commission Policies and Procedures Manual will assist new members of the Commission to better understand their role and responsibilities. B. Resolution NOW, THEREFORE, it i5 found, determined and resolved by the Planning Commission of the City of Diamond Bar as follows: 1. The Planning Commission hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of this Resolution are true and correct. 2. The -Planning Commission is operating under a Planning Commission Policies and Procedures Manual adopted June 10, 1996. 3.. The adoption of the Planning Commission Policies and Procedures Manual dated April 14, 1998 shall supersede the Planning Commission Policies and Procedures Manual dated June 10, 1996. 4. The Planning Commission shall follow the policies and procedures listed within the manual dated April 14, 1998. 1 APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS THE 14TH DAY OF APRIL -1998, BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR.
