MINUTES OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW APRIL 8, 1998 CALL TO ORDER: Deputy City Manager _James DeStefano-called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m. in the City Hall, 21660 E. Copley Drive, Suite 190. ROLL CALL: Present: Deputy City Manager James DeStefano and Associate Planner Ann Lungu. PUBLIC COMMENTS - ?done CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING,: 1, Administrative Development Review No. 98-6 (pursuant to Code Section 22.72.020.0 and 22.72.60) is a request to construct a 10,113 square foot two-story single family residence with five car garage and indoor swimming pool. Property Location: 22818 Canyon View Drive (Lot 11 of Tract No. 51169), Diamond Bar, CA 91765 Property Owner/ Jerry Yeh, Unionwide Applicant: 1038 Bastanchury 1328, 'Fullerton, CA 92855 Staff recommends that' the Deputy City Manager approve Administrative Development Review No. 98-6, Findings of Fact and conditions as listed within the Resolution. DCM/DeStefano stated he has reviewed staff's April 6, 1998 report and understands that the project has been shifted in terms of the site plan to respond to issues raised by staff as well as, the architect's representation at the March 24, 1998 meeting. He further stated he understands that the revised colors in the materials board has been requested by staff and not received from the applicant. The issue pertaining to, colors and materials between Lot 11 and the adjacent Lot 10 involves the use of veneer on tl-ae front of Lot ills building, and more stucco and -less stone veneer on Lot 10. The variation in stucco color between Lots 10 and 11, is minimal, and the black and grey roof -tile on Lot 11 is very similar to the grey and brownish slate tile proposed for Lot 10's building. The applicant is to work on these issues with the staff. With respect to Item 3, securing of Walnut and Oak trees,- delivery and installation is scheduled to occur in Jane. Perry Associates has h, zcn retained to assis_ with the revegetation issue (Item 4). With respect to Item 5, the Buyers' Awareness package has been received pursuant to'the original tract conditions, but needs to be reviewed adn approved by the City. I the 'conditions of approval: Astp/Lungu explained to Mr.Feh that staff is requesting that prior to pulling building permits, the schedule for Mitigation Monitoring be reviewed and approved by the City. DCMjDeStefano closed the public. hearing.. DCM/DeStefano stated he read staff's report, reviewed the revised plans, has seen the invoice and order for the trees. He approved Administrative Development Review No. 98-6 with the Findings of Fact, and conditions as listed within the resolution in the April 6, 1998 packet.
