INTERSECTION OF BREA CANYON ROAD AND LYCONING STREET
A. RECITALS. FREE Lt
(i) It is hereby found and determined that
a portion of Brea Canyon Road south of Lycoming Street, legal
described in Exhibit A/and as shown by the map in Exhibit B
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, which

Angeles, State of California, is no longer needed for present or
prospective use based upon the following facts: That the subject
right-of-way has been superseded by relocation and this vacation
does not cut off access to the property of any person which prior
to such relocation -itlgk - and azz =t -terminate �.
public service easement; that the subject right-of-way is an excess
right of way not required for street or highway purposes and that
the subject right-of-way is not required for general public access
or circulation or for bicycle paths or trails.
(ii) The public easement in, over and across said
property for street and highway purposes legally described in
Exhibit A attached is hereby vacated pursuant to Chapter 4, Part 3,
Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code, State of California,
commencing with Section 8330; reserving and excepting therefrom all
easements and rights for utility facilities owned by Southern
Califotn"sa EdisCn Company and southern California Gas Company for
covered st^rm drain and appurtenant structures and storm drain
ingress and regress to the City of Diamond Bar for sanitary sewer

purposes to the City of Diamond Bar, as set forth in Sections 8340
and 8341 of said Streets and highways Code.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND
BAR DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Executive Officer -Clerk of the City Council be
instructed to record the certified original resolution in the
office of the Registrar -Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.

California, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
passed, approved and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Diamond Bar held on Ira day of

BREA CANYON ROAD VACATION (5)

That portion of Brea Canyon Road, in the City of Diamond Bar, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, as shown on map of Tract No. 27394, filed in Book
703, pages 3 to 7 inclusive, of Maps, in the office of -the Registrar—Recorder of
said County, within the following described boundaries;
Beginning at the northerly terminus of that certain 1550 foot radius curve
in the easterly boundary of Lot 24, said tract; thence northerly along the
northerly continuation of said curve to the beginning of a reverse curve concave
to the southwest and having a radius of 27 feet, said reverse curve being tan—
gent at the westerly terminus thereof to the easterly prolongation of the north—
erly line of Lot 1, said tract; thence northwesterly along said reverse curve to
said easterly prolongation; thence westerly along said easterly prolongation to
the westerly boundary of said Brea Canyon Road; thence southerly and southeast—
erly along the westerly and southwesterly boundaries of said Brea Canyon Road to
the point of beginning.
Reserving to the City of Diamond Bar an easement for covered storm drain and
appurtenant structures and storm drain ingress and egress in and across above
described portion of Brea Canyon Road herein being vacated.
Also reserving to the City an easement for, and the\ right to construct,
maintain, reconstruct, use and operate, sanitary sewers and appurtenances in and
across the above described portion of Brea Canyon Road herein being vacated.
Also reserving all easements and rights of the Southern California Gas Com—
pany and Southern California Edison Company in and across the above described
portion of Brea Canyon Road herein being vacated.
The reservations herein being made are done in accordance with the provi—
sions of Section 8340 and 8341 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
