RESOLUTION GRANTING CONSENT AND JURISDICTION
TO THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
IN THE MATTER OF
COUNTY LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT 10006
AND COUNTY LIGHTING DISTRICT LLA -1
CITY OF DIAMOND BAR
PROJECT NUMBER 283-107
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles
is about to commence proceedings under Divisions 7 and 15 of the
Streets and Highways Code, for the annexation of territory to
County Lighting Maintenance District 10006 and County Lighting
District LLA -1; and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation will have street lights
installed in the City of Diamond Bar; and
WHEREAS, all of the land included in the proposed annexation
lies within the boundary of the City of Diamond Bar; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Diamond Bar, as follows:
SECTION 1
That the public interest, convenience, and necessity, require
the maintenance of a street lighting system located within said
territory as shown on the maps of the annexation of County Lighting
Maintenance District 10006 and County Lighting District LLA -1 on .
file in the office of the Department of Public Works.
SECTION II
That this City Council hereby consents to the annexation of
said territory, as shown on the attached map and/or described in
the attached legal description, included within the boundaries of
said annexation, and lying within the boundary of the City of
Diamond Bar.
SECTION III
That this City council hereby finds and determines that the
land included within the boundary of the proposed annexation lying
within the boundary of the City of Diamond Bar, will be benefitted
by the said proposed annexation, and hereby consents to the
inclusion of said land within the proposed annexation and to the
assessment thereof.

That the consent of this

District LLA -1 by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Los Angeles, and to the exercise of exclusive jurisdiction of said
Board of Supervisors over all proceedings necessary thereto for the
purpose of consummating the same, all in accordance with the
provisions of Divisions 7 and 15 of the Streets and Highway Coded.
That the Clerk of the City Council is hereby directed to
certify and deliver two copies of this Resolution to the Department
of Public Works of the County of Los Angeles.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED on this 3rd day of MaU_, 1994.

Beginning at the -most westerly corner of Tract No. 35576, as
shown on map filed in Book 1093, pages 21 to 24 inclusive, of Maps,
in the office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles; thence
southeasterly along the boundary of said tract and following the
same in all its various courses to the point of beginning.
