HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2001-25RESOLUTION 2001- 25 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AN IRREVOCABLE OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR ROAD PURPOSES A. RECITALS: (i.) WHEREAS, Pulte Home Corporation, a Michigan Corporation, is the owner of the property herein generally described and has offered the City of Diamond Bar a dedication for such portions of property more particularly described in Exhibits A and B of the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for Road Purposes attached hereto; (ii.) WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed, approved and recommends acceptance of the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for Road Purposes; and (iii) WHEREAS, all legal prerequisites. to the acceptance of this offer and the adoption of this resolution have occurred. B. RESOLUTION: NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Diamond Bar does hereby find that all of the facts set forth in the recitals of this resolution are true and correct. Section 2. The City Council of the City of Diamond Bar does hereby accepts the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for Road Purposes, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Attachment "I," from Pulte Home Corporation and consents to recordation of this offer of dedication. Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Diamond Bar is hereby authorized and directed to cause the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for Road Purposes to be recorded on behalf of the City in the Office of the County Recorder and to execute any and all other documents as may be necessary or convenient to effect the recordation, and to certif - to the adoption of this resolution. 2001-25 PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 2001.
