HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2002-64RESOLUTION 2002-64 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF MULTIWAY STOP SIGNS ON LEYLAND DRIVE AND NEWBURY WAY AND LEYLAND DRIVE AND WYNNEWOOD DRIVE LOCATED IN THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR, CALIFORNIA. Recitals (i) The Traffic and Transportation Commission considered this matter at a public meeting August 8, 2002. (ii) At the meeting of August 8, 2002, the Traffic and Transportation Commission determined that the installation of Multiway Stop signs on Leyland Drive and Newbury Way and Drive and Wynnewood Drive will enhance and improve the public health, safety and welfare. (iii) The Traffic and Transportation Commission recommends the installation of Stop signs on Leyland Drive and Newbury Way and Leyland Drive and Wynnewood Drive. Resolution NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1. Said action is pursuant to Sections 10.08.010 and 10.08.080 of the City of Diamond Municipal Code, as heretofore adopted; 2. The City Council hereby finds the public health, safety and welfare will be best p by the installation of Multiway Stop signs on Leyland Drive and Newbury Way and Leyland Drive Wynnewood Drive as herein prescribed; 3. The City Council of the City of Diamond Bar hereby authorize and direct the C Engineer to cause said Multiway Stop signs to be installed. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of September, 2002.
