HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2002-09RESOLUTION NO. 2002- 09 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR INSTALLING MULTI -WAY STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTION OF EVERGREEN SPRINGS DRIVE AND LOST RIVER DRIVE. A. RECITALS (i) The Traffic and Transportation Commission considered this matter at a public meeting on January 10, 2002. (ii) At the meeting of -January 10, 2002, the Traffic and Transportation Commission determined that the installation of multi -way stop signs at the intersection of Evergreen Springs Drive and Lost River Drive is appropriate. (iii) The Traffic and Transportation Commission recommends the installation of multi -way stop signs at the intersection of Evergreen Springs Drive and Lost River Drive. ' B. RESOLUTION NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: - 1. Said action is pursuant to Sections 10.08.010 and 10.08.075 of the Diamond Bar City Code, as heretofore adopted; 2. The City Council hereby finds that the public health, safety, and welfare will be best protected by the installation of multi -way stop signs at the intersection of Evergreen Springs Drive and Lost River Drive as herein prescribed; 1 3. The City Council of the City of Diamond Bar hereby authorize and direct the City Engineer to cause said multi -way stop signs to be installed. 2002-09 PASSED, APPROVED and APPROVED this 5th day of February 2002.
