A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DIAMOND BAR, AMENDING
CITY OF DIAMOND BAR COMPENSATION PLAN AND FRINGE BENEFITS EFFECTIVE
JUNE 24, 2017
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar adopted and amended the City of Diamond
Bar Compensation Plan (hereafter, the "Plan") by adoption of Resolution No. 2017-06, which became
effective March 4, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar has approved and adopted the annual budget
for Fiscal Year 2017-2018; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar amends Resolution 2017-06, to include a 2.4%
cost of living adjustment for all benefitted classifications of employment including all executive positions
(Department Heads, Assistant City Manager and City Manager) as reflected in the attached
compensation plan as "EXHIBIT A"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar includes an increase of $50 to the benefit
allotment for all benefited classifications of employment including all executive positions (Department
Heads, Assistant City Manager and City Manager) and City Council Members; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar desires to establish a full-time benefitted Senior
Neighborhood Improvement Officer job classification as a non-exempt position at salary grade 23NE
($27.85 — $37.32); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar desires to establish a full-time benefitted Permit
Services Coordinator job classification as a non-exempt position at salary grade 21NE ($26.51 —
$35.52); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar desires to delete the Permit Technician
classification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar desires to establish a part-time non -benefitted
Recreation Leader III classification as a non-exempt position as salary grade H8 ($14.04 — $18.81);
and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Diamond Bar, does hereby
amend Resolution 2017-06 effective June 24, 2017 as cited above.
